Monday Treasure – the EGA

If you haven’t seen the Embroiderer’s Guild of America’s website, you’re missing out. If you’re a new stitcher, or a stitcher looking for new challenges, the EGA is a wonderful place to learn new techniques.

Their site design has improved over the years, and now they have quite a bit (not nearly all) of their embroidery collection online for viewing. I’m especially taken at the moment with the pointe de gaze handkerchief!

Go look. Join if you want (they have options for independent members, members in a local chapter, and a cyber-chapter, all of which offer classes, a lovely needlework magazine, and the opportunity to talk to other people who share our obsession!)  But DEFINITELY go look at their collection of embroidery!
