Do you want to stitch something really special and unique? Have an idea for a project but can't draw the design yourself?

I can help. Let me convert your idea into a custom hand embroidery design you can stitch. I can even kit it for you with everyting you need to stitch the design!

How Does this Work?

It starts with a request from you - you can even use this easy request form!
I schedule a time to call you and we talk about design specification and the project you want to create. Depending on how detailed the request, I may be able to provide a verbal quote immediately, or I may need to do some additional pricing and email a quote to you.
I send you a written quote. This will include a date at which the quote expires, and may be adjusted if you decide to do the project later.
You like what we talked about and send me the down payment listed in the quote.
I get to work and then send you up some rough drafts.
You approve one of them (or request small changes).
I finish the design, kit it if necessary, and let you know it's ready.
You send me the final payment and I send you the pattern or kit.

That sounds awfully complicated! Why can't I just tell you what I want and you send me the design?

Remember, the story about the 5 blind men and the elephant? You know what you want, and unfortunately, I can't just reach into your head and pull out an image of it. I'm bound to make inadvertent changes. Having a draft process lets us be sure you are getting what you are paying for - a design you will want and enjoy stitching.

Exactly HOW much does this cost and how long will it take?

I hate to say this, but it really depends. I wish I could give you a hard number. Cost and time depends on the following factors:

How complicated the project/idea is.
How long it will take me to create detailed roughs.
If it is counted work, how long it will take to chart.
Cost of materials for a kit - and the time to get them.
Time to paint the canvas if you want a needlepoint canvas.
