The members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn attempt to extend their minds and spirits through the practice of magical rituals and astrology as taught by the scrolls of the order. The belief is that in order to enforce your will upon the world, you must first purify that will until it resonates properly with the Universe. In other words, work for the good of mankind.

If you wish to see the original rituals and teachings, I highly suggest finding a copy of Regardie's book on the Golden Dawn, listed in the bibliography.
